Burtle Silver Band  

We are a friendly and family-oriented Brass Band, our players are drawn from Burtle and the wider Somerset area, ranging from Watchet to Glastonbury, and from Cheddar to Yeovil. Our main intention is to carry on the traditions of the Band and serve the community.

The Band rehearses on Thursday evenings at Burtle Village Hall at 7:30pm. The rehearsals are relaxed but purposeful: we want to get together, play music and try to get better each week. We do not enter contests. 

Players of any age, background and ability are always welcome to join.

Burtle Silver Band are rehearsing again and taking bookings for events. Please use the Contact Us page to send a message to our Band Secretary to arrange an event. 

Please note that the Band will do a risk assessment on venues if there is a concern that there is inadequate ventilation. The health and safety of the Band Members and our audiences are very important to us, and we do not want to put anyone at risk of contracting COVID-19.
