WELCOME TO THE BAND

The Burtle Silver Band is not only one of Somerset's longest-running silver bands, we are a friendly local brass band with a love of music. Over the years, the Band's reputation has become known over a wide area, playing at a variety of events including Whit Walks, Harvest Homes, Flower Shows, Fetes and Steam Rally's to name a few. One priority has always been a willingness to assist in fundraising for local charities.

Burtle Silver Band has retained its original image as a friendly village band. Players of any age, background, and ability are always welcome to join and we invite you to enquire, regardless of your playing level.

The Band meets for weekly practices on Thursday evenings at Burtle Village Hall from 7:30pm - 9:30pm. Our repertoire is rehearsed in a purposeful but relaxed atmosphere, all are welcome to sit in and play.
